Katie Price has opened up about her life and admitted that she has hurt people in her past, confessing that she has “made mistakes” as she gets candid with her fans
Katie Price has admitted she’s “made mistakes” in life in the trailer for her upcoming documentary. The former glamour model, 48, is the subject of a new four-part series on Sky titled Katie Price: Nothing To Hide.
In the trailer, Katie says: “I know I have hurt people deeply, and I know I’ve made mistakes.” It then cuts to Gareth Gates, who she had a fling with in 2002 when he was 17 and she was 23.
Katie, who was six months pregnant at the time, later sold the story of their brief relationship. The trailer begins with a voice-over by her mum Amy Price explaining that her daughter was “quite shy as a little girl”.
Katie then says she “always felt misunderstood” and “no one got to see the vulnerable side… never”. The voice-over continues: “Once she got that camera turned in front of her, she turned into a completely different person.”
One contributor says Katie “throws these little bombs and wants to see what they do”. Her mother then shares: “We had to do something, otherwise we’d lose her.”
Katie’s ex Alex Reid, who she was married to for just under a year from 2010, says that she “emasculated” him. She is then heard saying:“I’ve got nothing to hide. I am what I am. It’s like watching a movie, isn’t it?”
Katie rose to fame under her alter ego Jordan as a Page 3 girl in 1996. She later went on to appear on I’m A Celebrity in 2004, where she met future husband Peter Andre. She has also featured on Celebrity Big Brother and Loose Women, and has starred in several of her own reality shows and documentaries.
Her private life has also been played out under the spotlight, with Katie being engaged nine times and married four times. The telly star has spoken about having a string of cosmetic surgeries over the years, including breast enhancements and face lifts.
Katie Price: Nothing To Hide will be available on Sky and streaming service Now from July 8.
