Ibrahimovic’s Manchester United future is in doubt following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and his ongoing injury problem.

The 36-year-old has been on the sidelines for over a month after suffering a recurrence of the serious knee injury he sustained last April.

United are unlikely to renew Ibrahimovic’s contract at the end of the season and LA Galaxy is understood to be among the favourites for his signature.

And Dos Santos says he would love to play alongside the former AC Milan and Barcelona hit-man.

“I don’t know if it is going to happen but he’s a legend, one of the best strikers in history of soccer,” said Dos Santos.

“So if he comes he is very welcome and for sure everyone would be very happy to have him in the team.

“It would be like a dream come true.

“I’ve been able to play with some of the best strikers in the world.

“I played with Robbie Keane, so to bring a total player like Zlatan would be huge for our attack.”

Speaking last week, United manager Jose Mourinho said the club would help Ibrahimovic if he wanted to leave.

He said: “If it’s true and he wants a future at another club we are here to help.

“But Zlatan told me he wants to recover and feel ready to help the team.”
