Will Alexis Sanchez play tonight?
Manchester United fans are desperate to see Alexis Sanchez in action tonight when their team faces off against Yeovil in the FA Cup fourth round.
It looks like the Chilean is set to feature after Jose Mourinho named him in his match-day squad.
Ahead of the clash, Mourinho praised Sanchez, saying the transfer was “a great deal for everybody”.
He said: “We got one of the best attacking players in the world and he’s very important for us because we want the best possible players.
“Alexis changed from a fantastic club to a giant club and [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan changed for a fantastic club, so it was a great deal for everybody.”
Sanchez made the move to Manchester from Arsenal this week in a straight swap deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
United’s new number-7 has signed a four-and-a-half year deal worth a reported £500,000 per week, making him one of the highest paid footballers on the planet.
Sanchez’s eligibility for today’s game was thrown into question earlier this week after he was embroiled in a drugs test mix-up.
The 29-year-old was not available to carry out a required test at Arsenal’s training ground on Monday because he was finalising his work permit for his United move.
Both clubs may face repercussions from the FA over why the formalities were not carried out, though Sanchez will not be stopped from playing tonight.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists that the club and player have “nothing to hide.”
He said: “On Monday there was a lot going on, it is a special day for Alexis Sanchez – you have to do paperwork and travel. Was he still our player on Monday or not? You don’t know.
“It is just a bad day for him to be tested. Honestly, on the administration side it would still be our responsibility because he had not moved. I don’t know what really happened.
“I am quite relaxed because we have nothing to hide here, we always try our best to cooperate with doping control.
“The intention of Alexis was not to hide and we have nothing to hide.”
Yeovil vs Manchester United kicks off tonight at 7.55pm. The match will be shown live on BBC, with coverage starting at 7.30pm.
