Liverpool’s Real Madrid battle

Liverpool face competition from Real Madrid for goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

The Roma stopper is on Jurgen Klopp’s radar as he looks to solve his keeper issue.

But Mundo Deportivo claim he’s also on Real Madrid’s radar as they look to replace Keylo Navas.

Madrid are looking at their options which include Thibaut Courtois and David de Gea.

But Alisson now appears to be another option.

Mahrez wants Real move

07.50: Riyad Mahrez reportedly rebuffed Manchester City’s advances this week because he’s desperate to play under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.

The Algeria international is among the Premier League’s top attacking talents and has had a hand in 15 goals at Leicester this season.

His chances of securing a second top flight title of his career increased this week when City made a move for him.

Pep Guardiola wanted to add Mahrez to his table-topping squad after Leroy Sane suffered a serious ankle ligament injury.

The latest reports from Spain suggest the 26-year-old was not keen on heading to City though because he’s waiting on an offer from Real.

According to transfer rumour specialists Don Balon, Mahrez did not go out of his way to force a move to the Etihad.

And that’s down to the fact that he’d sooner play under Zidane than Guardiola if he’s to leave Leicester.

Arsenal eye Malcom deal

07.40: Arsenal could make another move for Bordeaux winger Malcom in the summer.

Arsenal snapped up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on deadline day after also signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the deal that saw Alexis Sanchez head to Manchester United.

But they lost Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Sanchez after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain left in the summer leaving them with space in attack.

And the Evening Standard claim Malcom is one they could go in for when the window opens back up.

Man Utd want midfielder

07.30: Manchester United will prioritise a midfielder in the summer to help Paul Pogba boss more games.

United were hammered by Tottenham on Wednesday night and their place in second is under threat.

Pogo was subbed off in the second half after failing to make an impact.

And United will look to add another midfielder this summer to allow him to flourish.

Jean-Michael Seri, Fred and Julian Weigl are on the radar.

Real are preparing for a summer of upheaval that could see Zinedine Zidane sacked and a host of star names moved on.

And the latest reports from Spain suggest Kane is central to Florentino Perez’s plans to overhaul Real’s playing staff.

According to transfer rumour specialists Don Balon, the Bernabeu president is happy to part with Modric to snare Kane.

The Croatia international is coming towards the end of a trophy-laden career in Madrid.
