Neymar has been on Florentino Perez’s radar ever since he burst on to the scene in his homeland with Santos.

And the Real president was given a sniff of one day signing the Brazilian when he quit Barcelona last summer.

Neymar is said to be unhappy with life at PSG because playing in Ligue 1 is less prestigious than in La Liga.

And the latest reports from Spain suggest he has laid out his demands if he’s to leave the Parc des Princes and move to Madrid.

According to Don Balon, Neymar has got his representatives to bring up Messi in negotiations.

And that’s because he wants Real to pay him more than his ex-team-mate receives from Barcelona.

Neymar’s stance is apparently that higher wages would present him as the world’s best player.

Neymar will not just have his future determined by how much money he can earn.

The 25-year-old wants to be the main man at Real, just as Messi is at Barcelona.

That may mean Perez is forced to move the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo on before he arrives.
