Victoria Beckham has shared the first picture of all five band members back together for the first time in years, amid rumours of new projects.
Melanie C, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Beckham are all together in the snap, despite years of claims that both Mel C and Beckham were against doing anything.
“Love my girls!!! So many kisses!!! X Exciting x,” Beckham wrote.
Last night it was alleged that she had stipulated that she would only give her time to new ideas if none of them involved her having to sing.
A source had told The Sun: “This is the pop reunion no one thought would ever happen again.
“But after a long period of negotiation Victoria agreed the time is right to work on new projects this year.
“It’s very exciting because she has always been adamant she wouldn’t go back.”
It’s been suggested that a new TV show and a string of endorsement deals could be on the cards.
A fresh Greatest Hits collection was also touted, but the group already released one back in 2007 – and have recorded no new material since.
They were also previously rumoured to be heading off on tour, but Beckham’s lack of desire to sing would presumably nix any plans.
The Spice Girls shot to fame in 1996 and were last seen together at the premiere of short-lived West End musical Viva Forever! in 2012.
