Conspiracy theorist who are adamant that Michael Jackson is still alive have pounced on a new video of an impersonator of the King of Pop – with the outrageous claim that MJ never died.
Sergio Cortes, a tribute act performer from Spain, has been under the radar for weeks but made a new video for his fans – some of whom believe he really is Michael Jackson using a secret identity.
In the clip, Sergio wears a black vintage military-style jacket with a red sash tied around his arm in a style reminiscent of Michael Jackson.
Barely moving, he stands still for a few seconds without moving his face and then the video loops again.
Sergio captioned it with a black heart emoji, usually used to signify sorrow.

The video has been watched more than 34,000 times since Sergio shared it on his official Instagram over the weekend.
In the comments, many people sang the praises of Sergio, but others claimed that he was more than an impersonator.
A believer wrote: “Michael Jackson?”
“Really?! I think he is Michael but I don’t know,” replied a second person.
“Yes this is Michael,” said a third viewer, who then doubled-down and added: “This is Michael Joe Jackson he never died.”
Sergio Cortes, who bears a striking resemblance to Michael Jackson in his later years, previously sparked a frenzy when he denied having plastic surgery to look like the singer and said his look was “all-natural”.
Convinced fans have also demanded that Sergio gets a DNA test to “prove” that he really is Michael Jackson and come out of “hiding”.

But one nail in the coffin for this conspiracy theory is that Sergio claims he actually once met MJ when the superstar was still alive.
On his official Facebook page, Sergio explains that his unlikely career came about when a journalist noticed his striking appearance.
Sergio said that, after he was noticed, he even acted as MJ’s double to wave at his fans.

“When I was finishing high school in 1987, a journalist observed that I was similar [to Michael Jackson] and asked me why I didn’t put on makeup like he did in a report for a magazine,” he said.
“I found it fun. Then, two weeks later, they called some Swiss producers who promoted Michael Jackson perfume to use my image.
“It was all coincidental that my fanaticism has become my working life.”
