Battlefield 6 Season 3 introduces three new weapons for players to get to grips with, each of them returning from the series’ past. Combine these with the remake of Golmud Railway, and Season 3 is a real hit of nostalgia for longterm fans.

Players will need to do a bit of legwork before they’re able to use each of these new weapons, though.

Here’s exactly what you’ll need to do to unlock the M16A4, L115 and RPK-74M.

How to unlock all weapons in Battlefield 6 Season 3

Put simply, you’ll need to progress the latest season’s Battle Pass before you can unlock each of the three new weapons in Battlefield 6 Season 3.

There are a few different tracks you can progress along, so figure out which weapon you want to unlock first and select the corresponding path to prioritise.

Here are the requirements for each weapon:

• M16A4 – Unlocked at Tier 11 of Tiger Shark
• L115 – Unlocked at Tier 5 of Recruit
• RPK-74M – Unlocked at Tier 11 of Warlord Hunters

As you can see, the L115 is the easiest weapon of the bunch to unlock with it achieved at just Tier 5 of the Recruit Battle Pass track. This is great news for those who love sniping, less so for those who want to prioritise the Assault Rifle and LMG.

The other two will require a bit more legwork, progressing through to Tier 11 of either the Tiger Shark or Warlord Hunters Battle Pass track. However, if the weapons perform anywhere near as well as they did in previous Battlefield titles, the work will be worth it.

All of the weapons are unlocked as part of the free Battle Pass – there’s no need to shell out for the paid version.

How to unlock all new weapon attachments in Battlefield 6 Season 3

Season 3 also introduces four new weapon attachments that can make the new weapons even more deadly. Those are locked behind a few miscellaneous gameplay challenges, so you’ll want to prioritise the following to unlock them quickly:

• Burst Fire – Get 40 kills with carbines or SMGs
• Aftermarket Buffer – Get 40 kills with Assault Rifles or DMRs
• Speed Holster – Get 10 kills with Sidearms
• Gunslinger – Get 10 kills with Sidearms
