Other famous faces jetting off to Australia for ITV’s classic show include YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, also known as Angryginge, musician Martin Kemp and comedian Ruby Wax

Emmerdale star Lisa Riley has become the second celebrity to touch down in Australia, ready to take part in I’m A Celebrity. The soap actress arrived at Brisbane Airport ahead of the ITV show’s launch next Sunday. Kelly Brook was the first star to land Down Under.

The Emmerdale star said upon arrival to Australia: “I’m from the north…we are made of tough skin.”

The star, who plays Mandy Dingle on the soap, arrived at Brisbane Airport ahead of the ITV show starting next Sunday. She added: “I am a Dingle I can cope with anything…We did Dingles Down Under many years and I feel it’s only right we do it again.”

Lisa, 49, said she could cope with any creepy-crawlies, saying: “I’ve worked on a farm and it’s part of the job.” Earlier in the day, Kelly Brook was seen beaming after her arrival. She quipped: “I haven’t seen my auntie Sheila for a long time so I can’t wait to see her, and I’m so excited that you’re all so excited for me.”

Other famous faces jetting off to Australia include YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, also known as Angryginge, musician Martin Kemp, comedian Ruby Wax, TV presenter Alex Scott and Jack Osbourne. They are set to be joined by comedian Eddie Kadi, rapper Aitch, and presenter Vogue Williams.

When questioned about her fear of bugs, Kelly joked that there might be some in her “relative’s” garden, adding: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’m visiting a distant cousin. I’m looking forward to surfing. Like I said, I’m looking forward to seeing my distant cousin that I’ve not seen for a long, long time… the koalas and the kangaroos. So much to look forward to.”

ITV is due to formally announce the line-up next week. However, two names will be absent from the announcement as they are expected to join the jungle as late arrivals.

Ant and Dec are set to return as hosts for the popular series, which is celebrating its 25th year. A source close to the programme revealed: “Producers are expected to pull out the stops to ensure the 25th series is the most memorable yet.”

Recent weeks have seen intense speculation surrounding the celebrity line-up. The Mirror disclosed at the weekend how Nick Ferrari withdrew from discussions with ITV about joining I’m a Celebrity after his radio employers promised to equal his substantial jungle payment.

Show bosses had courted the LBC presenter during what insiders described as “really productive conversations.”

However, sources suggest that once Ferrari informed his Global superiors of the potential move, they implored him to think again.

A source explained: “They pledged to match any fee he was set to receive as they consider him such a vital and well-loved part of the LBC schedule.”
