Katie Price had a cruel nickname for one of her old flames and she pulled no punches as she publicly criticised his manhood in her autobiography, before he spoke of his frustration

Katie Price had a rather cruel nickname for her ex-fling Danny Ciprani after their relationship ended in a bitter fallout.

The former England rugby union star, who turns 37 today (Sunday, November 2) had a brief romance with Price in 2011 after the glamour model’s marriage to Alex Reid ended. The ex-I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here star was said to have fallen for his “succulent thighs”.

However, their fling came to an end, soon after the now mum-of-five, aka Jordan, claimed she discovered him in bed with another woman. She later publicly mocked his manhood in her revealing autobiography, ‘Love, Lipstick and Lies’.

The now 47-year-old – who has a history of bedding sports stars and not being particularly complimentary about their sexual skills afterwards – dubbed him ‘Danny Chipolata’.

And she detailed the moment she walked into his bedroom, after being let in by one of his housemates, before claiming she found him in bed with another woman.

She wrote: “My gut instinct had been spot on, Danny, who was supposed to be my boyfriend, was having sex with another woman.” Price added that Cipriani and the woman immediately stopped when they saw her standing at the door, with her hands on her hips.

She wrote: “‘Hiya,’ I said – sounding calm even though I felt anything but. ‘Danny,’ I said, sounding more together than I was feeling, ‘I want you to know that I forgive you, but I never forget’.”

She continued: “I marched up to him and flicked his d*** with my hand. I said: ‘All right, are you? You f****** s***!” He rushed out of the room.”

Despite Cipriani seemingly playing away, Price admitted she wanted to continue seeing him, stating that she still wanted to “make love to him”.

But after it emerged he had allegedly cheated on her multiple times, and he moved on with another stunner, Kelly Brook, Price wrote a scathing column for a national newspaper.

In it she alleged his tackle wasn’t the most impressive thing she had ever seen.

Explaining why she chose the particular nickname, she quipped: “In my experience he was a bit – erm – lean in the most obvious departments.

“That’s why I nicknamed him Danny Chipolata. He can no longer hit the right spots on the rugby field and he certainly can’t find them on a woman.”

Speaking out about their relationship for the first time in 2015, the ex-Wasps, Melbourne Rebels, Sale Sharks, Gloucester and Bath fly-half-admitted it was “frustrating” at the time.

“She was cool, but it wasn’t anything major and then it was written about in her books later on,” he shared.

Taking the high road, Cipriani added: “I have no ill feeling towards that and it’s just how it is. At the time, it was frustrating.”

Reflecting on their fleeting romance, he added: “When I was younger she was that pin – the hot girl of the moment.

“When I met her she seemed really nice and we hung out for a couple of weeks with a group of friends.”
