A man was left spooked after his doorbell camera captured a haunting clip of a “ghost” strolling past his house near a graveyard. The eerie footage shows a ghostly white shadow moving across the pavement before seemingly vanishing into thin air.

Shane Irwin, 42, said the smart Ring Video Doorbell notified him just before 8pm on September 4 to someone it detected at his front door. And yet when he checked the video back, he didn’t see a soul – until he saw what he believes was a supernatural apparition.

The self-proclaimed horror movie fan said he lives opposite a cemetery in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, US. He said: “The doorbell notified me that someone was at my door, and I didn’t see anything at first. Then I spotted it.

When Shane Irwin logged on to check the footage, he was shocked to see that nobody was there – until he spotted what he believes to be a “ghost.”

“I rewatched it probably for about 15 minutes, it was so cool.

“I was amazed. Right there across the street is a cemetery. I am very interested in horror, I love ghosts and the paranormal so I thought it was amazing.

“I definitely think that it is a ghost. It is not a time of day when there is fog. It is just too perfect to be anything else.

“You don’t usually see stuff like this happening in the daytime. I have seen videos like this on the internet but it is always at night and really faint. This is very clear.

“I showed my sister and a few of my friends who believe in ghosts, and they said I definitely captured something.”

The news follows phantom-like orbs being caught in Ring Doorbell footage across the UK.

Yvette Fielding, the Most Haunted star, called on residents with motion-detecting lenses on their doors to send her their spooky footage. And it appears Britain is filled with ghouls wandering quiet neighbourhoods.

A “freaked out” dad from Liverpool said he doesn’t want any “ghostbuster types” investigating his house after his Amazon Ring doorbell captured footage of a mysterious supernatural phenomenon.

Phil Johnson, 31, said he now believes in ghosts after taking his bins out on a Friday night. When he went back into his house he received a ‘strange’ notification from his mobile phone.

“The footage sticks for a few seconds and then it shows me walking back into the house. Suddenly a strange object goes past my head.”

He continued: “I have no idea what that is. I have watched it over and over still don’t understand what happened.”
