A starkers bloke caused naked havoc on a bustling roundabout in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, earlier today as temperatures soared. The local constabulary confirmed they were alerted to the incident on Sunday (June 29).

According to the Manchester Evening News, the man was reportedly assaulting motors during his wild spree. The police responded to reports of a naked man randomly approaching vehicles near the Middleton Archer pub.

Social media posts described the man as “running over the roundabout” and “going for any car or person near him”. One post detailed how the man “tried to attack my car as I picked my daughter up from the gym”, adding: “It was awful!”

Another post echoed the sentiment: “It was awful,” it read. “I was two cars behind when he was attacking the guy in car,” reports Wales Online.

“My girls were also in car, think they’re traumatised bless them.”

Another woman alleged the man “attacked” their car, with her daughter and other family members inside, before hopping into the driver’s seat.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed they received multiple calls about the incident. Once they arrived at the scene, a man was nicked and taken into custody.

In an official statement, a spokesperson for the force said: “Officers arrested a man in Middleton town centre on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. He remains in police custody.”

Middleton Archer staff told the Daily Star: “He was fighting a tree at one point. And then he attacked someone’s car. Two customers at the pub pinned him down and then the police came.”

Yesterday, a man was filmed nonchalantly wandering amongst shoppers on the high street just after 5pm on June 28. In another video, the same bloke can be seen legging it across a roundabout in the town centre, despite his bare feet.

On June 28, the mercury hit 24C in the area, with forecasts predicting an even hotter 26C today.

Monday is set to sizzle even more, with temperatures expected to soar to a scorching 30C. This latest streaking incident follows a man flashing his backside at passing cars on Weston Road in Meir, Staffordshire, on June 20.

Footage of the event shows the man sat on the pavement wearing a cap, shirt, and shorts that expose his rear end.
