A boyfriend was left chilled to the bone after spotting a creepy figure standing in a darkened hallway behind his girlfriend on a Snapchat video.
The spooky footage shows a girl posing for a selfie before moving it to face her cat.
But it is what is standing behind her that left her partner terrified.
A strange white figure seems to be standing motionless, facing the girl, in the hallway.
It appears to be wearing a white gown and has long black hair.
Reddit user u/jmeicke posted the clip to the social media site yesterday.
“My girlfriend sent me this Snapchat and something in the background caught my eye,” he wrote.
“I’m personally not a huge believer in the paranormal but I seriously can’t get over how much it looks like a person in her closet.”
It has already received 400 up-votes, with more than 100 people commenting their thoughts.
“Either your girl is lowkey telling you she’s cheating on you, she’s being stalked by a creepy motherf***er, or there’s a damn ghost in the closet,” one wrote.
Another commented: “I’m sure there’s some sort of explanation but it fully looks like a person.”
And a third added: “I paused it. It looks like a girl with black hair, wearing a white sweater or jacket.”
Not everyone was convinced there was a paranormal explanation behind the sight though.
Some sceptics suggested it was simply a coat hanging on a door.

It is not the only spooky sight to have been caught on camera in recent weeks.
A supposedly “haunted” World War 2 dummy was filmed blinking of its own accord last week.
And what seemed to be a “full-bodied ghost” appeared out of nowhere on a creepy CCTV from a Brit street.
The haunting footage was captured in Milford Haven, Wales, last month.
