The Beckham family have been at the centre of speculation for months before eldest son Brooklyn dropped a bombshell statement alleging they were ‘controlling’ him
The Beckham clan have put on a united front after days of torment – but eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were nowhere to be seen.
Todays marks a week since Brooklyn, 26, released the bombshell statement that targeted his family and accused his parents of attempting to “control” his life and even “ruin” his relationship with his billionaire heiress wife. Since then, Brooklyn has yet to comment publicly – but the Beckhams have sent a few cryptic messages to their estranged family.
England legend David has since added that “Children are allowed to make mistakes. That’s how they learn”. While speaking at the World Economic Forum, he added: “So that’s what I try to teach my kids. But you know, you have to sometimes let them make those mistakes as well”.
Younger brother Cruz, 20, used the Spice Girls song Who Do You Think You Are? to seemingly subtly respond to Brooklyn’s statements, while Victoria has been seen at Soho Farmhouse celebrating Emma Bunton’s birthday.
Today (Jan 26), the whole family can be seen reunite for the first time, including Romeo, 23 and sister Harper, 14.
The Beckham clan stepped out between shows at Paris Fashion Week. They all looked glamorous in smart outfits – with various emotions on their face.
David and Victoria looks slightly glum, while brothers Cruz and Romeo sported a slight smirks as they linked arms with their respective girlfriends.
Earlier today, Cruz was joined by his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, alongside brother Romeo and his partner Kim Turnbull on TikTok as they filmed themselves in a car alongside the caption: “Imagine hating and we’re just here like”.
The family looked to be in good spirits, despite the negative attention brought by Brooklyn’s statement.
Since then, Brooklyn has emerged in public only once while on a loved up walk with Nicola.
The pair could be seen holding hands and getting close in Malibu after a week holed up in a coastal hideaway.
They were walking their dog, a white pup named Lamb who they adopted in 2022, and giving each other comfort – with Brooklyn appearing dejected. At some point in the walk, the wandered over to the shoreline and shared an intimate conversation.
The pair did seem solemn, but Nicola cracked a smile while wrapping her arm around her husband.
Brooklyn has yet to release further comment, but he has made is clear he doesn’t wish to reconcile with his family. The week before the statement, it was revealed that his team had sent a legal warning to Posh and Becks, warning them to not contact their son through Instagram.
