Been an F1 fan since the 80's; thought I'd check in. The cars are goofy looking now with the halo, no characters for drivers, strategy mostly about tires and fuel, but the gravest sin of all was losing the glorious V12's, then V10's, then V8's to the present neutered V6's with electric power. Pah. Give me Senna and the howling V12's over this pablum.

mercedes explaining it was lewis fault LOL. If Bottas wouldn't be such a dick to hold op verstappen and Vettel going into the pits things didn't went wrong. Drivers have been punished for this in the past.

Bottas won't be helping Lewis like that again. The wheel gun was less to blame than Max getting angry about being backed up while Lewis pitted.

boo hoo Porsche…you have a fuck load of turbo experience over decades in motor sport and you couldn't figure out how to design a MGU-H to compete with other engine manufacturers currently in F1…

Honestly Fuck Porsche if they don't want to compete with advanced tech in F1. Truth is, they just don't want to lose to Mercedes in F1, they couldn't handle the stress of battle with their countrymen in a league where the power unit is so scrutinized and out in the open. It would be bad marketing for Porsche. Mercedes is too well-oiled and efficient.

So Porsche wanted simpler rules because it's not capable to produce a competitive MGU. And MB, Ferrari, Renault, Honda which have invested between 0.5-1 bill Eur to project and develop such a complex system in the last 5 years should be ok, right? F++k off glorified VW beetle. If you are such a technological force, do like the others, don't ask to change the rules for you!

It's really fucking pissing me off, here we are with Mercedes themselves admitting what i've been saying for two weeks, that Valtteri's pit stop was a disaster compared to Red Bull's BUT, thanks to the STUPID, unwell looked into Unsafe Release rule, Mercedes got away with it, and the Red Bull pit crew's effort went out the window. I'm not saying racing should be allowed in the pit lane but the rule needs a second look. If u loose time in the pit stop/In-lap, if u come out second you have to yield.
i really find Porsche's backing out a relief because the current PU is "too complex" for their concept. Formula One is the pinnacle, no need to not-complex. -

The entire pit lane issue should've been handled differently, because Bottas slowed down unnecessarily behind the safety car.
The inconsistency in the stewards room is ridiculous and a partial fan base that's anti- Max by default.
