Never really like Napa , had a few problems going there lmao
Definitely enjoying the field trips. Wish I had a camera for a vid. My Snap On dealer is in my shop swapping out a new tool box. He rents space from us and has 1/2 of his inventory out so he can switch boxes. Where he puts it all I don't know. The guy works 50 hours Monday through Friday and will be working most of the weekend. I used to think the job was easy until he moved in. He definitely works as hard as we do if not harder.
those carlyle wrenches have impressed me. I am really liking those
Great film, as always, Dow. I have a diverse collection of Carlyle hand tools and more will keep finding their way into my tool box. NAPA is more convenient to me than the local tool trucks. I won't waste your time listing the Carlyle tools I have now, but I did buy the 8 piece screwdriver set for $29.99 on sale; I already had the stubby screwdrivers.
Cool vid man.
Dude all of your parts stores in your area have an awesome selection of tools. My area literally has like 1 row in autozone. Napa is always closed
Use Carlyle tools everyday at work. Love them. Havent had any issue with any tools. Besides the torque wrenches. But we are rough on them lol. Don’t think I’ve ever used the evercraft though. Good video brother!
Even some lisle stuff is made in Taiwan
Nice try Justin lol
I been eyeing those carlyle wrench sets to replace my craftsmans
Those boxes look decent and priced to sell for sure. I wish we had more choice in the UK for boxes.
Justin
Great job. Good tools for the most part and reasonable prices here in texas. Keep 'em coming, knowledge is appreciated.
Ours only to the commercial clients.
Not a single NAPA in my area carries Carlyle
The reason they charge so much for made in the USA is not because it’s made in the USA but because people know that they’ll pay more for it snap on ratchet does it cost $280 to make nor is there that much labor in it that ratchet pray cost nap on 20 bucks
Now made in USA ? WOOOHHOOO !!
Now you got some going on you could sell it for $200 is like buying a harbor freight box and slapping a snap on sticker on it
My NAPA doesn't have much in the way of tools.
In Canada our Napa tools ate called ultra pro…probably the sabe tools. I have a bunch of their sockets and a couple ratchets. They are great. Yes some of their prices are up.there but they have sales often and I wait for sales
I really dont care were tools are made
It would be better if those Chinese tools and Taiwanese tools would be better made in Mexico I'm Mexican American
Who gives a shit if it's made in the usa? If it has a lifetime warranty and you can return it at the store and get a new one what's the problem?
That's funny shit with the stamping! Haha
Love it. Just a random idea that may not be in your wheelhouse, check out equipment places like John Deere or Kubota or whatever. Even some equipment rental places sells tools or rents them. Doesn't have anything to do with automotive but it can cover things from small gas engines to big tractors. Just a random one off idea.
You work for napa dont you lol
That was a NAPA know howl Justin. BA DUM TSSS
these tours you did are pretty cool Justin watched them all, enjoyed your comments and opinions since you use a lot of these. Thanks for the tips, nice tour and video!
Great video! I have a set of Carlyle metric box end wrenches and they are made in Taiwan.Great wrenches. Those Homak boxes look great and the prices aint bad.
That nut bolt wall thing is such a great idea! I enjoy this style of video, I was going to film one today, but it was too busy and i was getting embarrassed lol
Easco used to supply tools for Napa until Danaher bought the company and shut it down. They were real good tools, especially the impact sockets. I have a set of 1/2 and 3/4 drive deep and shallow impact sockets, the walls on them are really stout.
Autozone has catalog
