Until I watched this video, I hadn't realized that Harper could hit a bomb in the batter's box and then catch the same ball in the outfield. Helluva talent.

You can be the highest paid player on crappy teams, because they can not get better support players due to being strapped by your 10 year contract that they'll be paying 3 years after you retire or you can be a Great Player on World Series Teams & get your rings & your legacy, it's up to you. Ask the GOAT, Brady, Jordan, Bird, Magic. I do think agents, MLB & teams need to do a better job getting these Stars money outside of baseball, that can be used to help pay these stupid contracts. I say stupid because of the length they are demanding. Price is relative, but to pay a 26 year old until he is 36 & declining (Maybe) is not good business.

My advice to Mr. Harper is to play where you think you will be the happiest & have a chance to win. You will make big money either way. Money alone isn't everything. Are you really going to spend it all?

I just don't understand why he would want to play for a team that barely even has a pitching rotation of playoff value. The Phillies are young af. They're not even elite atm… Also he will still be playing in the NL East. It's just odd he wouldn't try to branch out a bit farther….
