Liverpool's press was like a 9000 pound anaconda crushing the life out of Arsenal on the whole pitch for 90 minutes. I am used to explosive gegenpressing knocking teams off balance, but the potency usually fades against quality teams after 60 minutes as fatigue sets in. When the Gunners were spending so much energy just to get the ball out of the back third in the last 15 minutes, Liverpool has taken it to a new level.
