OK, what's not clear from this fact check is whether you read the study after Sanders and Ocasio Cortez made the claims. It doesn't sound like you did, it sounds as if all you did was ask the study's author for denial or confirmation, and if that's all you did, how do you know the Koch Brothers didn't get to him and say, 'Find a way to row back on your support for Medicare for all.'

It's definitely not insurmountable, but a big hurdle to "medicare for all" is getting physicians and Big Pharma on-board. And, I doubt that healthcare insurance companies are going to be thrilled either.
Re physicians, a couple of years ago, on NPR, they interviewed a couple of physicians in the UK. Both pointed out that there was a cap on how much they could make because now, they were "salaried" by the Government. I think they said they made about $300,000-$500,000 a year. Physicians, now, in the US, particularly if they're specialists, can become millionaires.
I'm for "Medicare for All", but I can see there's a lot of work to be done before we'll have it.
(Oh, and btw, a HUGE reason it'll be a long time coming is because of the amount we spend (in comparison to other countries that have medicare for all) on Defense spending. And, that budget will just keep growing and growing because all that needs to be said are the words, "National security", and it shuts everyone up. Even Dems dare not vote against the obscene amounts paid to the Military-Industrial complex. And, they need not even explain why increases are necessary. "It's classified" is all they need say.

They said it would save the American people money. Not the government. They are saying when you combine what you pay out of pocket with your taxes your over all expense would go down. That is true. They did not say the government expense would go down since of course, the government would be writing the checks. The difference would be that instead of paying $100 dollars to insurers, you would instead pay $65 more in taxes (my numbers are not exact). The total out of pocket would go down, but your taxes might go up. The government would then pay out the $65 for your health care. So the government payments would go up. Also, everyone would have healthcare.

Calling bullshit on this video. CNN has been anti Bernie and Democratic socialism since the very beginning and they clearly have a moderate Democrat agenda they are trying to push. Obviously the studys author (who was payed by the Koch brothers) is going to spin this as a failure. The ACTUAL story is that the raw numbers and data say otherwise – which I think Tapper knows here and is being very sneaky and dishonest about. Hey guess what CNN? America wants universal healthcare. Get with the program or you are going to turn off all your viewers, and your viewers are going to turn off CNN.
