man all this money on above average (at best) pitching, spent by teams that can't afford to make mistakes like the white sox and blue jays. in a day and age where everyone is a potential home run hitter. yikes

Wow this is MLB Network? The reason the pitching Market was down last year was not because teams didn't need starting pitching it was because huge names were going to be on the market this year and they did not want to overpay for lesser players. So they waited for the big-name pitchers to sign this year to set the market and now guys like Dallas keuchel see that he will never get a 25 million dollar a year contract just because he won one cy young award

I have an idea for the Dodgers…..
Make a trade with the Yankees, take JA Happ and and the remaining contract and return the Yankees a prospect. That should do it.
