I’m confused. Did they figure out their signs from observation during the game or did they steal some documentation or spy on practices? If they just figured out what signs meant what and then were clever enough to bang on a garbage can to tell players what was happening… how is that any different than reading a pitch that is coming in right before you swing or calling a teammate off for a fly ball? Sounds like they used teamwork to win a game… key word being game. You can’t tell me that every team in baseball doesn’t try to figure out the other teams signs. As far as I can tell right now, no shame in what they did.
