Can people stop talking about a second referendum, it won’t happen. I’m remain and I don’t want one, and I’m content with having to buy a visa for Benidorm and have less money overall. And I just want us to get a deal and get out so then that will be the end of it.

This is total bullshit the way they try to make it look like it was all old people only that voted leave. I know loads of people between 18-24 who were ardent leave voters. In 2016 I worked in IT in Birmingham and with 23 people who were all young between 18 and 28, all of them voted leave except one who refused to say how he voted. Still today, everyone I speak to voted leave. This may only be my small circle of reference but I suspect it is wide spread outside of metropolitan London.

To give the UK another referendum on the EU would mean their would be no reason not to give the Scottish another referendum on remaining in the UK. That is why the government can't have a second EU referendum. It would be the remaniacs demanding a second EU referendum that would be ripping this country to peace's

We already had a vote and leave won.
If democracy means anything the Mandate laid down on the 23rd June 2016 will be carried out by parliament.
If we are made to vote again them we will at least know once and for all that the EU and their supporters within our parliament see democracy as little more than an inconvenience.Ireland were made to vote twice , with the second vote after a 6 month wall to wall media fear campaign.
Denmark got the same treatment.I never thought the UK would as well.

It's appalling how the media is trying so hard to convince us that voting Leave was just a mindless decision. Methinks there are a few people higher up who would be inconvenienced by Brexit and have a lot of money to throw away on influencing the media…

The worse thing about this is that it has polarised the country against its self. This us and them attitude will lead to tyranny. The public are not experts in politics and should never have been given the responsibility to damage the country as it has been. A second referendum may help prevent the UK being left in the bargain bin for the US to pick over but it would not fix the division now present. Unfortunately, there is no going back to before the vote described by some as "ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer". The frustrating thing is that the vote was only for guidance. The government has no legal obligation to leave the EU. It can just say no. With the country split down the middle, we need a third option. Either that or a way of uniting it's people other than war. Meanwhile, more important issues are being neglected. We are, after all, living in an extinction event and have twelve years to collectively pull our planet back from the brink. So we work together or die. Happy holidays everyone.

A public referendum is advisory,not legally binding. Recall the first try out and do it properly,but assure only adults vote this time and request a qualified majority win to even consider the result.

The fact is that the majority on both sides are still greatly misinformed on what Brexit means.
The media was completely bias and incompetent with a population that was too lazy to educate itself and logically back up their decision.

Please let us get no deal and leave. There is so much hype about how catastrophic leaving the EU will be for us, but in reality nobody knows for sure. We were told to join the Euro and not doing so would damage our economy, it seemed not taking advice worked in our favour.
