As I've suspected for weeks, a luke-warm May-deal pulled out of the bag at the last minute. "Look what a great deal we've got, isn't it lovely?" Reminds me of when my totally out-of-touch parents bought my brother a girls' bike for his Christmas, replete with basket and colourful seat, during the height of the BMX era. I'd hazard that the reaction isn't going to be unlike my brother's.
