Oh so this is who McLaren will replace Lando Norris with when he can’t get results with their garbage car either.
I’m starting to think that being a front running team is not McLaren’s default state, that this is actually the normal and their previous bouts of front running were the exception brought on by having Gordon Murray and Adrian Newey. I actually got this impression from an extended interview with Gordon where he said that he had kind of wanted to retire from F1 but thought he could just slot into McLaren and not have to be a major driving force only to arrive and find that the well oiled machine was a facade and there wasn’t actually much organization.

I miss racing in old days. Drivers with real balls and the relationship with close racing and death being strong. Now its just distant and boring. These young kids thinking thier next best thing.
