Kyren Wilson has resurrected his chances of knocking out the defending champion, winning the longest frame of the match.
Judd Trump raced into a 30-5 lead, but Wilson won the following safety exchange after Trump fouled twice.
Wilson then led by 23 points but was unable to pot the necessary brown, which Trump knocked in via a fluke and required a snooker to win.
But Trump could not get that snooker and Wilson sets up a grandstand finish.
