And a huge mistake from Mark Allen has blown this decider wide open.

Opting against a long red, he tried to play safe but missed the ball completely, hitting it after the cushion to leave Barry Hawkins with the chance to extend his advantage.

But he couldn’t nail an extremely trick red down the rail with the rest, letting Allen off.

With nerves jangling, both players missed shots they ordinarily wouldn’t, and a difficult table is proving to be unforgiving.

Hawkins has left a red over the pocked, could this be Allen’s moment? Over five hours played this match now, the longest of the tournament.
