Former England hooker Brian Moore has slammed England’s error count against Scotland.

“If England can’t catch, can’t pass and can’t carry, how do they win a Test?” he wrote in the Telegraph. “No player deliberately makes mistakes and errors, to some extent, are inevitable during Test match encounters.

“That, however, is not an excuse for failing to execute basic skills. It also cannot be used to shield coaches from criticism, when the systems they design do not work or they fail to address fundamental failings.”
