The Daily Mail claims that Pogba wants his long-term future to be at United, and that he would be willing to sign an extension to his current deal as a result.

He would, however, reportedly ask for a pay-rise, which would be tricky considering his reported wages of £300,000-per-week.

Earlier this season, United seemed resigned to losing their star man, with Raiola determined to find his client a new club after the European Championships.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted all talks over Pogba’s future will be held in confidentiality, while indicating that he could be in line for a return from injury within the next few days.
