“I’ve heard people say Bayern Munich have a massive advantage now because they’re weeks ahead in terms of fitness and have basically wrapped their league up.
“But I don’t think so. I think Bayern are a brilliant team. They proved that with the way they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
“They will be in there challenging. There’s no doubt about that. But City just have a better squad.
“Being able to make five substitutions is a massive advantage for them. They can bring on five internationals and give players plenty of rest.
