Mourinho tells Pogba he can go
Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho has told Paul Pogba he can leave Old Trafford – all he has to do is ask for a transfer.
Pogba hinted at unrest in the Old Trafford dressing room after United’s 2-1 win against Leicester, claiming: “There are things I can say and there are things that I cannot say, otherwise I will get fine.”
And according to The Sun, Mourinho and Pogba’s relationship is at an all time low after a huge bust-up.
They say the United boss has told the Barcelona target he didn’t like his comments – adding if he wants to quit the club again, he can ask for a transfer.
Dembele disagreement
Barcelona chiefs are at odds over where the future of Ousmane Dembele lies.
Dembele endured a tough first season at the Nou Camp after being given the unenviable task of replacing Neymar on Barcelona’s left wing.
And speculation over the summer suggested Barcelona could cut the Frenchman loose to recoup some of their sizeable outlay on him.
Marca claim club chiefs disagree over whether they should retain Dembele’s services or sell him to the highest bidder.
It is said the 21-year-old could yet be sold this summer despite those who want him to stay currently winning the argument.
Pogba wants move
Man Utd star Paul Pogba is intent on joining Barcelona, the Daily Mail claim.
The France star has been tipped to join the Spanish giants before the end of the month, when the European transfer window shuts.
And the Mail say Pogba wants to leave United because of Jose Mourinho after numerous bust-ups.
They add that Mino Raiola has agreed personal terms with Barca worth around £89.5m over five years.
Barcelona could make signings
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu left the door open for a late transfer over the weekend, claiming anything could happen between now and the end of August.
The club have done good business with Arthur, Malcom, Arturo Vidal and Clement Lenglet all arriving at the Nou Camp.
But there could be a fifth addition.
“The market (transfer window) ends on August 31 and we will continue to pay attention,” he is quoted as saying in Marca.
