We are gonna get the limo out front, hottest styles, every shoe, every color. Thought it ended 15 years ago, we’ve never really gotten over Hannah Montana, have we? With best-selling albums and a movie to boot, it’s definitely one of the biggest Disney Channel shows or franchises of its era, and Miley Cyrus has been embracing the nostalgia more and more. She might have even gotten a haircut for the occasion, “joking” in January that her bangs, reminiscent of Hannah’s, were for the upcoming 20th anniversary. And now we know she meant it: in February, she announced that an anniversary special was on for real!

Dressed in full Hannah garb, Cyrus strolls through the recreated set, admitting she’s “getting emotional” in a new trailer released two weeks before the special. The longer glimpse at the reunion confirms that it’s hosted by Call Her Daddy‘s Alex Cooper, and reveals the participation of both of Cyrus’ parents, mom Tish and dad (and co-star) Billy Ray.
It’s so exciting to see Cyrus back in that blonde wig, making the “shh” pose. We feel just like slew of super-fans entering the studio, presumably to sit in the audience…but where are Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso?

“Going back to where it all began. The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special premieres March 24 on @DisneyPlus #MileysMemories,” the pop star wrote on X.com alongside a 17-second clip showing a vintage car with the license plate HM 20 pulling up outside stage 9 on the Disney lot. The show’s theme song can be heard on the car’s radio, and then someone in black boots steps out of the driver’s side.
