If there’s one thing Bella Hadid’s not going to do, it’s let her good jeans drag on the pavement.
Paris Fashion Week is well underway, with plenty of patterns emerging among street styles stars. When it comes to denim, many off-duty models and guests have been taking a page out of Jennifer Lawrence’s book by opting for hems that extend to the bottom of their heels or puddle on the ground.
The move away from cropped hems serves multiple purposes by adding length to the leg while projecting an effortless aura, which is why the style is gaining traction regardless of style. Whether sticking to baggy jeans or opting for slimmer silhouettes that are trending for Spring 2026, it seems guests are pocketing the money previously spent on alterations.
Bella Hadid, however, has been bucking this trend throughout her time in Paris and beyond, largely opting for denim that highlights her footwear rather than swallowing them up. On March 2—one day before debuting her new pageboy bob at Paris Fashion Week—Hadid made her grand entrance in a pair of straight-leg jeans that stop well above the ankle, showing off much of her beige crew sock and the entire tongue of her black loafers.
