Timothy Busfield has been edited out of an upcoming Amazon MGM film after he was accused of child sex abuse.

The actor, 68, will no longer appear in the rom-com “You Deserve Each Other” starring Meghann Fahy, Penn Badgley, Kyle MacLachlan and Justin Long, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film, directed by Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn and based on Sarah Hogle’s bestselling 2020 novel, “follows an engaged couple who have fallen out of love and try to sabotage each other into calling off their wedding, only to fall back in love in the process,” per IMDb.

Busfield was playing Fahy’s character Naomi’s dad, Bernie.

The cast of “You Deserve Each Other” also includes Natalie Morales, Ana Gasteyer, Hope Davis, Delaney Rowe and Lisa Gilroy. The movie does not have a release date yet.

The Post has reached out to Amazon MGM Studios and Busfield’s lawyer for comment.

Busfield’s child sex scandal also affected his guest role in an upcoming episode of “Law & Order: SVU.”

The Post confirmed last week that NBC pulled the episode that was supposed to air on Thursday, Jan. 15. Busfield was set to play a judge.

Busfield has also been dropped by his talent agency, Innovative Artists, in the wake of the charges.

In an arrest warrant issued Jan. 9 in New Mexico for Busfield, the “West Wing” alum was accused of inappropriately touching twin boys on the set of the Fox show “The Cleaning Lady.”

The alleged abuse started in 2022 when the boys were 7 years old, according to court documents.

However, the allegations were first investigated in November 2024, when a physician notified police about suspected sexual abuse and grooming after examining one of the children at the University of New Mexico Hospital, per the criminal complaint.

Busfield told police it was “highly likely” he touched kids on set, and noted that there were no specific rules regarding physical contact with children while shooting.

But new police audio revealed that the boys told investigators in November 2024 that Busfield never touched their private parts.

The audio was presented by Busfield’s attorney in a New Mexico court on Monday, calling it an “unequivocal denial” of their allegations of inappropriate touching.

The “Field of Dreams” actor, who is married to “Little House on the Prairie” star Melissa Gilbert, surrendered to New Mexico authorities on Jan. 13. He was charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse. He entered no plea in his first court appearance on Jan. 14.

That same day, Busfield was hit with new allegations by a third alleged victim.

Busfield is accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl “several years ago” in Sacramento, California, by prosecutors in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, according to a motion filed last week.

Busfield has not been charged in connection with the 16-year-old’s claim.

He is currently being held without bond at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque. His next court appearance is on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
