“The Middle” actor Pat Finn’s cause of death has been revealed over two weeks after he died at age 60.
Finn passed away on Dec. 22 of bladder cancer, according to his official death certificate obtained by TMZ.
The document stated that Finn had the cancerous tumor in his bladder for years.
Additionally, the doc noted that Finn died at his home in Los Angeles and that no autopsy was performed.
Finn’s rep confirmed his death in a statement to The Post last month.
“It is with profound sadness and grief that the Finn family announces the passing of beloved comedic actor, Pat Finn,” the rep said.
“In 2022, Pat battled bladder cancer, went into remission, but the cancer returned and metastasized. He was a warrior in every sense of the word,” the statement added.
A GoFundMe page was set up by Finn’s loved ones before his death to help the family afford “the medical treatments, alternative therapies, and residual financial demands.”
“This devastating loss has been a gut-punch for all of us, but especially so for the Finn family, cherished friends of so many of us,” the fundraising page reads. “They remain in a truly tough spot. Throughout the grueling and painful process that was Pat’s fight against this insidious disease, the family has been a rock of support for each other.”
The fundraiser has raised over $194,000 as of Thursday morning.
Finn most notably played Bill Norwood on 23 episodes of “The Middle” from 2011 to 2018.
His co-star Patricia Heaton reacted to Finn’s death in a heartfelt Instagram tribute where she called him “one of the finest and funniest human beings I know.”
“He was adored by all who knew him, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and wonderful comedy,” Heaton added. “Our hearts are broken, but as faithful Catholics, we know we will see each other again through God’s mercy. Rest in peace, dear brother.”

Finn portrayed Joe Mayo on “Seinfeld” in 1998 and Monica’s (Courteney Cox) boyfriend, Dr. Roger, in two episodes of “Friends” in 2000.
His other TV credits include “The George Wendt Show, “Murphy Brown,” “The Drew Carey Show, “That ’70s Show, “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “House” and “The Goldbergs.”
Finn is survived by his wife Donna, whom he married in 1990, and their children Cassidy, Caitlin and Ryan.
Cassidy paid tribute to her late dad in a Dec. 24 Instagram post, calling him “a role model and an inspiration to everyone you met.”
“I’ve never met a single person who had a bad thing to say about my dad,” she said. “I feel like the luckiest person in the world that I got to call you my dad.”
