While Hugh Jackman is gearing up for his first world tour, “The Man. The Music. The Show,” the Tony-winning actor is already plotting his return to Broadway.

“I’m actively thinking about it right now,” says Jackman, during a chat at the Andaz 5th Avenue hotel in Midtown to promote the December 10 launch of tour ticket sales.

“It’s been so great …to be able to dip in and out [of the stage] in between movies, says. “It’s a really difficult thing to find 18 months of your life to go on Broadway, but I’m ready. So I’ll be going back.”

As for his concert tour — which kicks off in May and hits Madison Square Garden on June 28 and 29  — Jackman will be showcasing material from his roles on both screen and stage.

Backed by an orchestra and dancers, Jackman says he’ll really be getting into different characters — from “Beauty and the Beast’s” Gaston and “Les Miserables” Jean Valjean to “The Greatest Showman’s” P.T. Barnum and “The Boy from Oz’s” Peter Allen — when he performs their respective songs.

“It’s a state of mind and a commitment,” he says, “and I think the audiences really enjoys the transformation.”

Jackman also plans to feature special guests during the two-month trek. In fact, he’s already lined up “Greatest Showman” standout Keala Settle for some appearances — and hopes to get their costar Lauren Allred to pipe in along the way.

The Aussie expects to draw a younger audience because of the success of “The Greatest Showman” and its soundtrack.

Since that original musical hit the big screen last year, Jackman says, “I can tell you I am being stopped on the street so many more times by…young kids and their parents. I like the idea that we’re gonna have a family audience. There’ll be no swearing, I can tell you that.”

Jackman also plans to include standards and pop songs on his set list, which he is still fine-tuning . “Honestly, my show right now is about 4-and-a-half hours long, so it’s all about cutting it down,” he says.

And the 50-year-old star is ready to bust some moves with the choreography, joking that the show may even include “a Wolverine kick line” for his “X-Men” fans. “I’m just hoping my ambition is not in complete odds with my age. That’s all.”
