How Does Interactive Video Work:
- In simple terms, but with extensive hard grafting from the team at IVI, any asset within a video can be made interactive. Once the video has been treated with IVI’s software technology, all assets to be promoted are tagged and their information is stored in the embedded database.
- When the user watches the video online (hostable in almost any environment) they have the choice whether to interact or not; so the interaction is not forced upon them as is the case with YouTube and Facebook…etc.
- All products are relevant to the brands video. So unlike YouTube, Facebook or other publications such as The Daily Mail where your enjoyment of watching a video will forcibly be interrupted by the latest unskippable lawn mower advert (this by the way when you are viewing an advert for the latest Audi Quattro); This is highly annoying! Research shows that most viewers, including 3 and 4 year olds, at this stage turn off the video they are watching.
- All products that are to be prompted appear as subtle icons at the bottom of the screen a few seconds before the product appears in the video (precursor).
- The viewer then hovers over the product, the video will pause (it can also carry on playing if you want), and product information in the form of text, graphics or a video will appear.
- In the case where a viewer wants to purchase a product, they can do that by selecting the product, selecting its size, colour and quantity (our unique website in a video technology) and add it to our unique integrated shopping basket.
The basket can then be checked before a secure payment is made (PayPal or any recognized merchant account).
