H&M and Charli XCX partnered to host an unexpected open-air concert and screen takeover in New York City’s Times Square. Thousands of music and fashion enthusiasts were invited to the iconic location, receiving “just 30 minutes’ notice to attend the celebratory performance on the TSX stage.” The event marked the launch of H&M’s ‘Holiday Collection’ and commemorated the reopening of its redesigned Times Square flagship store.
The performance featured Charli XCX in custom H&M pieces inspired by the Holiday Collection, including a “semi-sheer draped dress, knee-high patent boots, and unique accessories.” Additionally, her setlist included popular tracks such as ‘360’ and ‘Guess Remix.’ The event was also accompanied by captivating visuals by Maximo Recio and Weirdcore, displayed across Times Square’s iconic screens.
This surprise concert concluded a global series of H&M events celebrating the future of fashion through performances, club nights, pop-ups, and store redesigns.
