Stephen A is absolutely right here. Stephen Jackson should be arrested. You cannot no show up for work and pretend everything is fine. U r getting paid more than anyone in the world to play not to chill out with your family. It may sound strict but that's the reality. It is good for their health to stay in bubble and not go out. And protests for FLoyd arent even relevant with NBA and the economy and the world continues. His death is in the past. It took social media and worldwide attention so social justice is absolutely irrelevant with NBA. Player should be penalised and also not get paid for this and next season if they decide not to play.

This is an ignorant point of view, they are trying to address this issue because they have the platform to speak out against it right now. Obviously prejudice won’t discontinue but you can attempt to seek systematic change and they want to use their platform to raise awareness to these problems. Basketball is entertainment so by resuming the season it is distracting the people from the movement.

Many of the people speaking out about not playing are people that are retired and already made their money or hurt or on a team that isnt in playoff hunt. Of course it is vigger than basketball but that doesnt mean you cant do both.
