Sorry.. but it's really not dangerous for young, healthy professional athletes in their 20s and 30s. As much as the the media would have you believe that. If they test positive…then keep them out of the lineup until they are negative. You can't cancel the whole season again if one guy gets the virus at some point. Or if they don't feel comfortable playing let them sit out the season and forfeit their salary this year. Easy.

You can talk about safety and precautions until the cows come home but the risks remain. And MLB is kidding itself if it thinks otherwise. Just remember that all of it is being done in the pursuit of more money for the 1 percent. For Greenberg to suggest the league will lose fans if the plan falls apart without recognizing ESPN's own vested interest in the return of baseball is truly disgusting. He basically said others should take risks so his employer can profit. In the middle of a pandemic. Talk about looking out for yourself! This coverage continues to be truly appalling and I hope history will condemn it as such.

Give the money from players who decide to not play because its too “dangerous” or they refuse to play because its half of their salary and give it to doctors and nurses who are the ones that are really risking their lives and should be getting paid more! You want to talk about unfair they don’t even make league minimum compared to baseball players. They need to put themselves in the reality of the situation.
