The league title is awarded to the best team in the league that season. To call Liverpool the best team in the league for the 19/20 season is the biggest understatement since the Premier League began.

Void the season , it’s an unprecedented situation. Start fresh in aug/September & cancel the European competitions for the new season so it’s a clean slate plus it stops clubs/fans travelling abroad for 1 year.

I don't see how you can take Liverpool in isolation. It's unfair on other clubs. What about Leeds and West Brom who I agree would have a legal case in those circumstances if they were not promoted. And clubs at the top in other divisions? One size fits all. If Leeds and West Brom were promoted, there would have to be 5 relegations next season, which is horrific. By way of example, Man City won 14 games on the trot at the end of last season, with 3 goals against, just after they had been stuttering after Xmas.

The way Liverpool have bossed the league, either play out the rest of the games or give them the title.
Talk of "null and void" would be a robbery. Skill and flair for 30+ games have earnt them these points. They haven't bribed any match officials and are wayy ahead.
I also like the idea of two automatic promotions for Leeds and West Brom, with a one game play off at a natural venue like a cup final for teams in the play off positions.

The only fair solution is to finish the current campaign when it is safe to do so. Any other 'solution' is going to be unfair on a number of clubs and is going to open up a legal can of worms that will further complicate matters.

The French got it right and the Dutch got it wrong. HUTCHISON got it wrong, wrong again, and wronger still.
Hutchison: "You can't relegate the teams in the bottom three!" Yes Don . . . you CAN. France DID. Norwich and Bournemouth will be back in the Championship within a fortnight. Villa still has hope due to their game in hand.
Hutchison: "It (relegation) would just be incredibly messy . . . hard to deal with . . . nigh on IMPOSSIBLE to deal with!" NOWHERE NEAR as messy or hard to deal with as getting teams trained again . . . dealing with expired contracts . . . testing everyone involved . . . organising logistics . . . etc. Anyway, ain't a chance of it happening. The players will NEVER sign on. -
France set a pretty big precedent with what they did, it could very well end it up this way in England too.

We keep agonizing over this decision like it's life and death when infact it's dollars and cents…The season should just be cancelled, yes there will be alot of fall out from that decision and perhaps even legal…but these are unprecedented times and I think the FA would win any legal battle…While it be unfortunate for Liverpool, teams in the UCL race and teams in the promotion race…absolutely…for teams seeking promotion this would definitely be a huge blow but perhaps the FA can offer them some compensation…at the end of the day it won't be the end of the world if the season is cancelled…LFC would still be champions in everyone's mind except officially…I think it would have been an even tougher decision if LFC wasn't in the UCL last season and go from almost being champs and getting into the UCL to losing it all…Life will go on eventually.
