I live in bangkok we all wear for months face masks we have only 47 dead in the whole nation , I just can not imagine what drives you idiots not to wear masks from the start , let me put it in the clear for you , our government has been pushing a categoric no to face masks because they know their just aint enough to go round , they have so killed thousands of people who could have protected themselves. At no point have the government put out public information films how to select materials and make them yourself not even blue peter . Now because the public are screaming common sence to them and they have no other choice they have said yes do it yourself if you feel but not medical grade . Now listen to this the whole of asia outside wuhan immediately switched over to wearing face masks months ago , this is why we are totaly uneventfull on the world death statistics , the whole of asia I mean Asia not india and Pakistan. The british government has lied to the british public from the start because they have ben looking at the money and probably their rich friends knot being able to make a profit because we do not make the stuff . I suggest that everyone who has lost a family member should sue for damages especially the nhs people if the government had advised diy masks at the start the numbers of infected people would not have hit the nhs so reducing dramatically the infection potential .
It makes me vomit here in Bangkok to see the incompetence they have gone over to excuses excuses excuses in the hope that some morons believe them , we have a priminister who goes to london hospitals shaking peoples hands and wonders why he gets covid19, where were the so called experts ? To put this fool in protective gear? Here in asia i watch the pathetic pictures comming from the uk and walk every day here in bangkok and see how we are dealing with the situation on public transport every second seat is marked x do not use keep a distance, disinfection and temperature measuring absolutely everywhere ! The people being disciplined by themselves I wish I could show you guys what is happening here so you can learn and do what the government iis failing to do they could not ,lead a bloody childs tea party ! And the british police force what the hell are they doing putting dye in a bloody lake or using drones in the country side

Wake up British people, even the BBC is lying to you to distract from the failure of your government. Oxford are NOT conducting the first human vaccine trials. Germany already announced 4 different potential vaccines yesterday, trials started this week and if they can confirm the very promising results from animal studies, a vaccine may be available from this autumn. You'd think that this is something the BBC should tell you, right?

When are the politicians (and their pals in the media) going to think of the 99.99% that wont get seriously ill / die from this? How about OUR futures? Shield the elderly and vulnerable , fine, but our jobs fund the NHS.. The longer this goes on the longer will be the recession.. more deaths from cancelled cancer ops, and NHS cuts than Covid-19 I suspect…Its not selfish to want to look after the 99.99% too.

Make face masks with clothes and wear it. It will prevent others getting infection. But, don't waste surgical face mask or N95 mask which is needed to prevent getting infection from infected people. Health care workers need those masks
