Guam takes a presidential preference poll. It is literally just an opinion poll that is conducted like an election. The only reason it even happens is because it's very predictive of the overall winner (since they started, the only times they got it wrong were 1980 and 2016. And even then, if you just count raw votes, they still got it right in 2016).
