Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been rewarded for his side’s perfect start to the season with the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August.
The German has seen his side win all four matches so far, scoring 12 goals and conceding just three.
The Anfield side began the season with a 4-1 victory over Norwich, then followed it up by beating Southampton 2-1 at St Mary’s.

A 3-1 win against Arsenal and 3-0 triumph at Burnley completed the month, to leave the Champions League winners two points clear at the top of the table with 12 points.
Liverpool also picked up their first silverware of the season by beating Chelsea on penalties in the UEFA Super Cup.
Klopp is hoping to pick up his first Premier League winners’ medal this season after finishing two points behind Manchester City in 2018/19.
