This is as close as were gong to get to so called "space" with the vacuum tube
I think this will not work! And will not be better (cheaper) than a train or a plane… or a ship… It will not save the planet… Just create a lot more junk.
It has too many practical problems and disadvantages… Why not build a teleport instead?
Guinness probably a shit beer because nobody take a sip
American still think the wright brothers invented the plane haha
Soon, airplane would become a thing of past. And not just that, cargo sheep as well.
Elon musk is epic!
what is he saying, 1.5 hour to airport? You still have to get to hyper loop. It's not at your door.
Idiot reporter. That idea has been around for like 100 years. It's not elan's idea
Ok Hypeloop
You can buy the expensive magnetic levitation train from Japan or Germany.Jiaotong University in Chengdu with unlimited funding has tested a low cost small magnetic levitation train in a enclosed hyperloop system that travel at 1,000 km/hr.which was patent.China has two new magnetic train lines, one in Chingsha, the S1 red line in Beijing and is building 10 more in Wuhan.Quindoa,Dalian,Tianjin,Hangzhou,Xian,Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Urumqi and Chongqing.CRCC will build a new line connecting two cities using a large magnetic levitation train and a hyperloop system at 2,500 km/hr.
Doesnt even have hyper speed rail way but now building hyper loop. Lol America is awesome
can this technology work under water?
this is such bull shit explain to me the engineering
It's probably a good design, but lets give credit where credit is actually due since the concept is over 200 years old? Here's some info from Wiki pages on the "Pneumatic tubes" and "Atmospheric railways". Sure, the modern versions being worked on will likely have some differences and new innovations but I wouldn't say anyone who is working on this concept these days is having any impressive leaps of genius? 😉
"In 1799 George Medhurst of London discussed the idea of moving goods pneumatically through cast iron pipes, and in 1812 he proposed blowing passenger carriages through a tunnel"
"Pneumatic capsule transportation was invented by William Murdoch. It was considered little more than a novelty until the invention of the capsule in 1836"

what keeps the spitball from sticking to the straw?
Are they in Mulligans ?
What if someone shoots at the tube?
What about those who are claustrophobic? Will there be a transparent version?
Fuck White Brother! Santos Dumont is the true inventor of the plane!
