Unless he was turning left he has no business in that lane. It was clearly marked with a left turn only arrow. Would enjoy suing him after a TA because of this kind of act.

I live in a small town so people here pull into the turning lane to merge into the right lame .

Glad I've not run into this, worst I've had is someone trying to merge into me because he didn't bother to notice that my lane was also a left turn lane despite there being a sign on the lights. Didn't even hesitate when I honked, I had to stop mid-intersection.

This is why I'd like a high tech looking button on the dash that says "FIRE" so when pressed a full Dolby Surround Sound sound effect of a missle blast will roar in all the speakers in the car.

And that is why I drive with a dash cam. Hope to never need it but when I do it will pay for itself. Just random clips of drivers being dumb can be fun but the real key is when you need a 100% reliable witness.
Remember people if you ever get in an accident and it is their fault wait for them to give the cops what ever story they want then ask if the cops want to watch the video.
Running a duel channel dash cam now that records both front and back with the only down side is it defaults to picture in picture mode rather then front or back cam only each time you turn the car off.

As one who gets around on a bicycle I can say your number is low. No matter how well I ride, I always have drivers trying to run me off the street. So many seem to forget a bicycle has the same legal right to the street as cars.
