The season could be over soon as even if Ferrari win, Mercedes will usually finish after them so they'll have to win a 1,2 lots of times this season. Vettel is terrible. 5th year at Ferrari and is terrible.

According to Nico Rosberg the Ferrari have a problem with their mid car aerodynamics. Flaps, barge boards and all are being re-examined and modified to alleviate a situation of control of airflow around the rear of the car causing low down force at the rear.. He suspects that at the quickest it will take Ferrari till at least Spain to manufacture and install the fixes necessary. Until they do the only way they can match rear down force with front down force is to crank up the rear wing which consequently creates drag and slows the car down. So until they can get the mid car airflow to go through the undercar defuser and rear wing cleanly enough to create down force with minimal drag… Well, we shall see.

The only way Ferrari have been competitive in modern times is when they effectively buy another team (Benetton in the M.Schumacher era).

Let's be honest. Only the press and mainstream media were gassing up Ferrari's chances as were mercedes. Any Ferrari fan knew that we still have a long way to replicate maximum performance in race weekends. And that's just to reach parity with MB who have held a consistent advantage since the hybrid era. Actually done really well since Pirelli work with MB on extracting and exacting performance.
