shouldnt throw flags on helmet to helmet hits if the ballcarrier lowers themselves. like the rams v 49ers clip. thats on the receiver for lowering himself. The ravens steelers call with miller. miller was falling low to the ground. no flag should be called. if you go low then your head is put where it shouldnt be. browns ravens put return, the running lowered his head. again its the runner fault for dropping his head. this kind of "protection" by fouling the defense only sets up the offense to be able to put their heads down when the defense cant and then get rewarded for it. The Ameri Cooper clip, again even the announcers key in on it, he put his head down. The first thing i was taught playing ball was DO NOT lower you head on offense or defense. Because on defense youll get a flag thrown and on offense you will get paralyzed. Very next clip, Colts eagles, the guy LOWERED his own head. jesus. this is an educational video on why you dont lower your head on offense. And then the pats game dude knocked himself out on that one.

Just replace the shoulder pads and helmet to something more styrofoam material sheesh. Players are more reliant to using their pads than actually properly tackling.

Also I can't tell you how it felt being hit like that (During PE in middle School not a actually football game) with out any equipment or helmet. I was plain knocked out I woke up a few hours later at my home. -
