Looks interesting. I used to be more of a Franchise guy, but just became to tedious for me, season are too long…I like the GM'ing and playing, but I didn't want to sim too much. But then I just couldn't get very far. Now I'm more into DD and love the legends and variety. This mode sounds interesting. Like you said, hoping the rewards can be toward DD. Good to have more and more game modes and variety, but that can also give you rewards for DD. I like that…

I have a hard time comprehending the, "I'm not a franchise guy because I don't want to play all 162 games," excuse. Have any of you realized that you can choose the "simulate" option or the more in depth simulate option where you choose how to pitch and hit? I mean, come on! This is wasted space. The only reason why this game mode was introduced is because it ties I to DD which is a cash cow for SDS. Always an ulterior motive. It kills me to see the "NEW" tab on everything else besides franchise. Sim players the minority nowadays; that is truly unfortunate.

This seems like an effort to get people into Franchise Mode who don't already play it by creating a "lite" version. Best case: it works and all Frch-type modes get some love next year. Worst case: it pleases no one and Frch keeps getting shafted.
I'm a diehard Franchise player and this mode doesn't really appeal to me. Still open to hearing more about it on Thursday's stream though. -

This "new games" should only come out every 3 to 4 years and come out with only updates in between.
People need to stop buying games that are half made and underdeveloped. MLB the show is one of many games that do this now a days. -

This looks like to me to be another test program to see how much they can degrade Franchise Mode before the fans give up on it. Maybe if we are lucky R.B.I. Baseball will improve enough over the next couple of years that those of us that play Franchise will have an alternative to this crap.
