Passing the baton?
Supermodel Christie Brinkley, who turned 65 last week, closed out the Elie Tahari show in a velvet suit and high-heeled boots. Meanwhile, her daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, 20, wore two looks during the show.
Brinkley-Cook first appeared in a belted, all-black look, and later donned a navy mini dress with crystal details at the shoulder.
The pair actually crossed paths on the runway and greeted each other with an exuberant high-five, marking the mother-daughter duo’s first time on the runway together.
After the finale, Brinkley walked out hand-in-hand with Tahari for his final bow, blowing kisses to the applauding crowd.
Here’s to more intergenerational moments in NYFW’s future.
