What was your favorite memory from the 2004 ALCS?
well that time i wasn't watching baseball i wasn't even a fan of my beloved Yankees back then. but i hear the stories of how that ALCS was and to think we were up 3-0 and blew 4 straight gms is crazy. all we had to do was win 1 game to move on but we couldn't get it done. but i have respect for BOS to be able to comeback after being down 3-0 is impressive and inspiring to never give up in a series no matter the circumstances.
Such a shame all the video of that game was destroyed in that fire back in 2011. At least we still have the photographs that were used in this segment.
Reliving this series is way more interesting than any playoff game nowadays. For some reason it seems the teams nowadays lack a spark. Still enjoy watching the playoffs but just seems like most players dont care about winning as a team. The astros is the only team that feels genuine but they dont have a good rival as of yet
The Bible or baseball the legends
As a Yankees fan I have to say that the Red Sox did the ultimate thing breaking the curse the ultimate way. It sucks for us Yankees fans but after all those years of not winning the Red Sox won the most satisfying way possible
Sabermetrics will never produce these kind of games. The days of the excitement are over.
I’m a Yankees fan but what the Red Sox did in 04 was impressive. Both teams will have more chances to win World Series rings in the future so I’m not butthurt about the 04 ALCS
remember watching this series live
El Big papi le dio hasta con la tambora a los yankee
why they have the number 42?
